Palantir tab on the Excel ribbon

CASH projects are opened and edited in Excel. If you are using Microsoft Office 2007 or later, a tab named Palantir will be added to the ribbon. All buttons are described in the table below.

Icon	Function
	Opens the Application Window.
	Opens the Options window (see User Options).
	Logs the user out of CASH.
Project Scenarios	Contains the list of existing project scenarios, and scenario management options (see Manage project scenarios).
Unit System	Sets the unit system, e.g. Imperial or Metric.
Periodicity	Changes the project's periodicity to Monthly, Quarterly, Semiannually, Annually or Mixed.
	Opens a window where you can modify settings that are applied to the project (see Edit project settings).
	Opens a window where you can specify working interest allocated to groups and partners (see Set up working interest shares).
	Calculates the project (see Calculate a project).
	Opens a log file after a project has been calculated (see Calculation logs).
	Opens a window with reporting options (see Run a project report).
	Opens a tool which allows you to create tornado and spider charts based on the project data (see Build tornado and spider charts).
	Displays the list of external links and allows you to manage them (see Manage links in a project).
	Opens the Project Utilities window (see Change data settings on multiple worksheets).
	Opens a window where you can add an attachment to the project (see Add an attachment).
Sensitivities On/Off	Applies sensitivities defined by the project settings (see Edit project settings).
	Opens the License Manager window (see Licensing).
	Opens the CASH user manual.
	Displays information about the currently installed version of CASH.
